She started learning kathak at the age of 2, her dad wanted her to become a famous artist, she started following her dreams soon after and found herself on the diversion of becoming either a normal housewife or to devote her life to teach not only her's but other children too. For this she did MA in psychology, Praveen in vocal from allahbad University, bhaskar in pracheen kala kendra & PHD in Kathak from bangia sangeet Parishad W.B.

Now she has been teaching kathak since last 15 years, also she achieved BNC certification in NCC, represented Bihar in Youth Festivals.
